Inchsmith is an iPhone app published by Issac Trotts, an individual developer. This page explains what the app and this website do with your information.
The short version
The Inchsmith app collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs for any of those purposes.
Data on your device
Your calculations, settings and tapes are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
Network access
The app makes no network requests of its own. The only exception: tapping Privacy Policy in the app opens this page (inchsmith.com) in an in-app browser.
Sharing
Sharing a tape uses the iOS share sheet. The tape goes only where you choose to send it.
Purchases
The one-time Pro unlock is purchased through Apple’s App Store (StoreKit) and verified on your device. Apple handles payment, and we never receive your payment details.
This website
inchsmith.com uses no analytics, cookies or trackers. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process standard technical request data (like your IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
